Crafted the old way

Heritage baskets

Since 1982, I have preserved this craft as a full-time basketmaker. I use 19th-century hand tools in the old fashioned tradition.

I demonstrate at my basketry workshop. I also share at craft fairs, museums, and historic sites such as the Morrill Homestead.

I welcome visitors at my basket workshop and gallery in Strafford, Vermont.

An elderly man wearing a striped shirt, suspenders, a cap, and rubber boots is working outdoors on a woodworking project, carving wood at a rustic workbench surrounded by wood shavings. There is a shed or workshop behind him with various tools, shelves, and equipment.
